My opinion
CBD.fr has one of the largest catalogs in the French CBD market. Around forty brands, hundreds of references, and physical stores in addition to online sales. If you like CBD, it is hard to overlook.
In addition to the wide product selection, I note the care taken with the product pages: the countries of origin are clearly indicated, delivery times are displayed before purchase, and practical information is accessible. It is well done on the user experience side.
But CBD.fr is also a site that sells neocannabinoids. This is a major downside, and I explain why in detail in the safety section.
CBD.fr is for you if you are looking for a broad catalog, varied brands, and fair prices. It is less suitable if you are committed to an ethical approach to CBD, or if you plan to order flowers without carefully checking what you put in your cart.

CBD.fr
CBD.fr is a French CBD store founded in 2021. The site quickly established itself as one of the most comprehensive platforms in the industry. With a deliberately multi-brand positioning and a presence both online and in physical stores.
Behind the brand is Alexandre Lacarré, the founder and CEO, surrounded by a team of 10 people with complementary profiles: finance, e-commerce, SEO, logistics, design, development, partnerships…
What I like is that CBD.fr chose to introduce each team member on their “About” page, with a touch of humor in the descriptions. Where many stores remain very anonymous, putting faces and personalities behind a brand humanizes it and reassures customers.
The concept of CBD.fr: offer a whole range of CBD products in one place. Flowers, oils, resins, capsules, cosmetics, e-liquids, accessories, CBD food products, pet products… CBD.fr clearly aimed to cover every need and every type of consumer.
Methodology
For this CBD.fr test, I ordered a 10% full-spectrum CBD oil that arrived in 3 days in careful packaging.
I analyzed every step of the shopping experience. I also contacted their customer service to test their responsiveness and the level of information provided before purchase.
I also reviewed their entire catalog, their transparency policy, and their delivery terms.
All of this to tell you what it’s really like when you order from them. I’ll let you discover my verdict, as a CBD professional.
This analysis and the overall rating are based on my experience and on 4 quality criteria: catalog, safety and transparency, popularity, customer experience.
The data is from April 2026.
1. Catalog ★★★★☆
It’s clearly CBD.fr’s strong point. With around 40 brands listed, the site offers one of the largest catalogs on the French market. Indoor, greenhouse, and outdoor flowers, resins, full-spectrum and broad-spectrum oils, capsules, concentrates, e-liquids, cosmetics, products for pets, herbal teas, CBD candies… and even CBD toothpaste (first time I’ve seen that).
There is something for every taste and every budget.
I really like the way the product pages are built: growing method mentioned for the flowers, country of origin displayed, concentrations clearly indicated, customer reviews. It’s a real effort toward clarity that I appreciate, especially in a sector where product information can sometimes be hard to find.
Regarding oils, the range is particularly comprehensive: from 5% up to 50% in full spectrum or broad spectrum, with CBG and CBN options for different needs.
One thing I find rather positive about CBD.fr, and worth highlighting: the catalog is generally well separated between classic CBD products and neocannabinoids. Where some brands freely mix the two without the consumer understanding what they are buying, CBD.fr has made an effort to categorize them. It’s better than nothing. But that doesn’t remove the underlying problem.
2. Safety and transparency ★★★☆☆
This is where things get stuck. CBD.fr sells neocannabinoids: NBSh, VMAC, THCBD etc… These products are mainly found in the flower, pre-roll, vapes, and resin categories.
These cannabidnoids are often presented as alternatives to CBD, with marketing claims like “intense relaxation” that have no solid scientific basis. In reality, no one really knows what these molecules do to health in the medium and long term. Not the laboratories that make them, nor the brands that sell them. Not even the advisors who recommend them over the phone!
I was able to see this firsthand during my exchange with CBD.fr customer support. Responsive, acting in good faith, but not trained on the effects of these products. I was told about “relaxation” and “well-being” for molecules whose actual properties are still largely unknown. This is not a personal criticism of the advisors. But selling these products without training your teams and without clearly warning consumers about their nature, I do not think that is reasonable.
Consumer demand is strong, and brands are responding to it, and CBD.fr is far from an exception in the sector. But the complete lack of scientific perspective on these substances should call for the utmost caution. If you want to try them, that is your right, but do so with full awareness of what you are doing.
With classic CBD products, transparency could be improved. Lab analyses are not available on product pages and are not provided upon request. That did not really surprise me; it is a recurring shortcoming in the sector.
3. Popularity ★★★★☆
CBD.fr displays 4.5/5 on Trustpilot with more than 877 verified reviews, and 9.3/10 with more than 11,300 reviews on Société des Avis Garantis. That is a significant volume of reviews, and customer feedback generally aligns on the quality of the catalog and the responsiveness of customer support.
The brand is present on social media with around 3,400 followers. A figure that may seem modest, but it should be viewed in context. Communicating about CBD on social media is particularly difficult and can be discouraging. Shadowbanning is a risk as soon as the plant is mentioned, visibility is often limited by algorithms. Many brands end up being penalized.
CBD.fr has also developed a physical presence with stores in France. This shows a genuine desire to establish itself for the long term and to reach a customer base beyond digital channels.
4. Customer experience ★★★★☆
The customer experience is good in practical terms. I ordered a 10% full spectrum CBD oil, received in 3 days in careful packaging. Nothing to complain about regarding the product presentation or the delivery times.
Customer support is responsive by email and by phone, even when there are issues, which is appreciated. I was able to get quick answers during my test. However, as I mentioned in the previous section, the advisors’ responses about neo-cannabinoids leave something to be desired.
Shipping costs are €7.20 for home delivery, with free shipping starting at €60. For pickup point delivery, the free-shipping threshold drops to €50. This is among the highest shipping costs I was able to observe during my research into the best CBD sites. Something to keep in mind if you order small quantities.
CBD.fr offers regular promotions and discovery packs almost all year round. This makes it easier to get value out of the order and more easily reach the free-shipping threshold.

What is the value for money?
Reference price (10% full spectrum CBD oil): €1.99/mL
This is a price in the lower-middle range of the market, consistent with CBD.fr’s multi-brand positioning. The platform does not aim to position itself in the premium segment, but rather on accessibility and variety. And on that point, mission accomplished!
The range of oils is very broad: from 5% to 50%, with formulas suited to very different needs (sleep, stress, sports, etc.). The entry-level products are affordable and the more concentrated references remain competitive compared with other premium brands on the market.
Regular promotions make it possible to go even further in terms of value for money. If you’re the type to look out for good deals before ordering, this is a site to bookmark.
