My selection
# Best value for money 🥇
> Mama Kana
I have worked in the CBD industry since 2021, the year I co-founded my own company (not included in this comparison). My experience and knowledge now allow me to evaluate the market with relevance and precision.
The online CBD sales market has grown enormously in France, to the point that the offering can be difficult for consumers to understand. You’ll find very good sites, but also some that are not as good.
I therefore conducted an investigation by testing 21 of the most visible sites, with real orders and a precise analysis grid. The goal was to verify for myself which ones are truly reliable and to share my opinion with you.
CBD e-commerce sites evaluated: 321CBD, CBD.fr, Cbdeau, Deli Hemp, Greenowl, Greeneo, High Society, Justbob, La Chanvrier Français, La Ferme du CBD, Le CBD Discount, Le Lab Shop, Le Petit Botaniste, Mamakana, Marie Jeanne CBD, Nativus, Okiweed, Stormrock, Tealerlab, The Greenstore, Weedy.

💰 Best value for money: Mama Kana
Catalog: ★★★★☆
Security: ★★★☆☆
Popularity: ★★★★☆
Customer Experience: ★★★★☆
🎁 promo code -20%: DARWIN20
Mama Kana is a French brand founded in 2020, now well established in the market with a rating of 4.4/5 from more than 2,500 reviews on Trustpilot.
It’s not the most premium brand in the comparison, but it offers one of the best value-for-money options, thanks in particular to competitive prices and regular promotions.
When I placed my order, I benefited from a Halloween offer that doubled my order. It’s clearly positioned as a “good deal.”
However, the product pages could be more complete. The country of origin is only indicated for a few items (mainly flowers and resins), several flowers do not mention their CBD percentage, and lab analyses are missing.
The brand told me by email that it only provides its lab analyses to customers who have already placed an order, which lacks logic in a sector where transparency should be available before purchase.
On the other hand, their customer service is very responsive by phone as well as by email, with consistent advice.
Mamakana remains an accessible brand that will suit those looking for low-priced CBD and who prioritize budget above quality.
Pros
- Excellent value for money
- Frequent promotions
- Very responsive after-sales service and relevant advice
Cons
- No public lab analyses
- Lack of transparency and information on the product pages
Best customer experience: Stormrock
Stormrock is a French brand founded in 2021, mainly aimed at fans of CBD flowers, resins, and concentrates. The visual identity is very polished, the packaging is carefully designed, and the brand focuses heavily on the experience.
When I placed my order, which arrived in 48 hours, I received a free tray as a goodie, as well as a free sample.
The customer experience is where Stormrock stands out the most. The customer service is responsive. I requested an analysis, which I received quickly by email, and the answers were clear. Their emailing strategy is also well executed.
Their website is very pleasant, easy to read, and well built.
On the product side, however, there is a lack of traceability on some product pages, particularly the absence of information about the origin of the flowers. The site also sells “CBD+” flowers, meaning flowers boosted with cannabinoids, but no synthetic molecules.
With 5,400 followers on Instagram, a modern brand image, and a very “customer-first” approach, Stormrock currently offers one of the most complete and enjoyable experiences in this comparison.
The pros
- Very responsive customer service and good advice
- Goodies + free sample
- Carefully designed packaging and brand universe
The cons
- Origin of the flowers not indicated
- Return information and shipping costs partially missing
Best transparency & traceability: La Ferme du CBD
La Ferme du CBD is one of the few sites analyzed that offers lab analyses for almost all of its products, a (too) rare point. This criterion is what puts them at the top for transparency.
During my tests, I only noticed a slight lack of clarity about the exact origin of the CBD flowers, but the brand responded quickly to my email, stating that it works with producers located in Switzerland and France.
As for the customer experience, the shipping and return information is clear and customer service proved to be responsive by email. There is simply no phone number, which somewhat limits contact options, but the responsiveness by email makes up for it.
The brand has been around since 2020 and is well established: about 5,600 followers on Instagram and 4.6/5 on Trustpilot from over 2,400 reviews. Their catalog focuses on the essentials, with a clearly “wellness” oriented approach.
Prices are slightly above the market average; for example, their 10% Full Spectrum CBD oil is sold for €39.90, but price is not taken into account in the rating.
Pros
- Lab analyses available for almost all products
- Fast and clear responses by email
- Positive customer ratings and a well-established brand
Cons
- No phone number
- Slightly high prices
Most popular: Le Chanvrier Français
With more than 19,200 followers on Instagram and a rating of 4.8/5 from over 5,160 reviews, Le Chanvrier Français is the most visible and most followed CBD brand in this comparison.
The catalog focuses on the essentials: oils, flowers, resins, herbal teas… only under their own brand, which allows them to control their range and offer something consistent. You’ll find the CBD classics, without spreading themselves too thin.
In my analysis, the product sheets were generally well constructed, even though some information is sometimes missing, particularly the CBD % for the flowers or a few usage details.
As for customer service, there is no way to contact them by phone, but the brand is very responsive by email, both before and after the order. I simulated a delivery issue: they were there to help. The packaging is also carefully done, in line with the premium image the brand conveys.
Shipping costs, however, are the highest in the comparison: €7.90 for home delivery (free from €70).
Pros
- Highly followed brand: strong social presence and excellent reputation
- Customer service responsiveness by email (before and after ordering)
- Promotion of Made in France
Cons
- Some incomplete product sheets
- Highest shipping costs in the comparison
- Difficult to reach customer service by phone
Best catalog: The Greenstore
Founded in 2018, The Greenstore is a French brand that stands out thanks to a particularly rich catalog. It is one of the most comprehensive sites in this comparison: a multi-brand store that brings together oils, flowers, resins, infusions, cosmetics, supplements, and more.
The Greenstore does not sell synthetic molecules but rather a “Flower Power” range. It consists of CBD-boosted flowers; the information is clearly stated. I’m not particularly a fan of it, but at least it’s acknowledged and transparent.
The only real shortcoming concerns the product analyses, which are absent from the site.
As for the customer experience, the purchase journey is smooth and the site is clear and pleasant to browse. My order arrived quickly, in 3 days.
Customer service is more discreet: no phone number and no response to my first email. However, when I simulated an order issue, the brand responded quickly. A reassuring responsiveness, even if it deserves to be more consistent.
Pros
- One of the most comprehensive catalogs
- Multi-brand, varied selection
- Smooth shopping experience
Cons
- No analyses available
- No phone number
- First email went unanswered (better responsiveness post-purchase)
The other CBD sites tested

CBD.fr
CBD.fr is a multi-brand site with a wide selection of products and good value for money. The product pages are clear and the site is a member of UPCBD, but the analyses were not received, despite my request by email. Apart from that, customer service is very responsive, even though they downplay the effects of VMAC/NBSH molecules by presenting them as “relaxing,” which is misleading and even dangerous for the consumer.
Greenowl
Greenowl has a polished website with some of the cleanest packaging in the comparison, but there are a few areas for improvement, especially the country of origin on certain products. Customer service is responsive by email and via chat, but the analyses were never received. The order was received in 48 hours, a very good timeframe, and the brand is a member of the Syndicat du Chanvre.
Cbdeau
Cbdeau is a member of the Hemp Trade Association and is very responsive by email, with analyses sent quickly and even a small gift included in the order. However, several points need improvement: shipping costs and returns are unclear, and the CBD percentage or country of origin is missing for some flowers. The brand also sells quite a few synthetic molecules. On the phone, customer service gives good advice about CBD but does not really understand the effects of synthetics.
Le CBD Discount
Le CBD Discount offers a clear website with fairly well-made product sheets, free shipping (the only one in the comparison) and well-detailed delivery/return conditions. However, the site mixes “classic” CBD flowers and synthetic products such as HE+ or OH HHC within the product categories, which can be confusing for a beginner consumer. Customer service is difficult to reach: no response on chat, no response to the first email, and only a reply after simulating an order problem.
Greeneo
Greeneo provides analyses for most of its oils and resins, which is a positive point. But the brand lacks traceability: no origin is indicated for the flowers and resins, nor any information on the cultivation method (important for consumers concerned about flower quality). The site also sells synthetic cannabinoids. I did not find any verified review tool, which is rather strange; nevertheless, they remain responsive in the event of an order problem, but the site’s transparency needs to be improved.
Le Petit Botaniste
Le Petit Botaniste offers reasonable prices and a varied catalog, but transparency and product traceability need improvement. I also could not find the company’s founding date. The offering is fairly confusing because CBD products are mixed with synthetic cannabinoids, which can easily mislead a consumer. Reviews are mixed (poor ratings on Trustpilot but rather positive Avis Garantis reviews), and customer service is responsive by phone, with good advice.
Justbob
Justbob mainly offers flowers, resins, and a few oils, with analyses available, but the product pages sometimes lack information such as the country of manufacture. Their only oil is an isolate, without this being clearly stated (you have to read the analysis to understand it). The site displays no legal notices, quality is often criticized (3.5/5 from more than 5,800 Trustpilot reviews), and the ordering process lacks clarity; you cannot see which carrier will deliver your order. I did not receive an email response before ordering, only after simulating a delivery issue.
Nativus
Nativus offers a clear website with very polished packaging, but some information is missing, particularly the products’ country of origin. Some flowers and resins have the same photos, which can be misleading and should be improved. Customer service is unavailable by email, even after simulating an order issue, but excellent by phone, with genuine advice and good product knowledge. Prices are fairly high, although free shipping on the first order is a nice surprise.
Weedy
Weedy lacks transparency on several points: the countries of origin, shipping costs, and especially an inconsistent brand story (20 years in business on one page, 15 years on another, then ultimately “has existed since 2017”?). Customer service is responsive by email and phone, but the advice remains questionable, especially when they present the molecules VMAC and NBSH as “relaxing” alternatives to HHC, which is false. A visible brand, but one that needs to clarify its information.
Le Lab Shop
Le Lab Shop offers a polished website, but several product pages are incomplete, especially for flowers (sometimes there is no description) and even some herbal teas where the CBD percentage is not indicated. The delivery information lacks clarity: before ordering, it is impossible to know that there is no home delivery, only Colissimo pickup point delivery. The claim “Voted best CBD in Europe” based on only 16 Trustpilot reviews is also questionable... Customer service does not respond to emails, but remains very good by phone, even though I did not receive a follow-up after simulating a delivery problem by email.
High Society
High Society offers a website with very polished visuals, but there is no CBD percentage indicated for the flowers and resins, no country of origin, and no clarity on shipping costs and returns before ordering. The brand is very poorly rated on Trustpilot and was acquired by Mamakana. Customer service is responsive with good advice, but refuses to provide analyses before purchase. After simulating a delivery problem, the response was quick.
Deli Hempi
Deli Hempi offers a website that is very visually polished, but several pieces of information are missing, such as the CBD content on certain flowers, resins, and teas, as well as the country of manufacture and even important details like the melatonin content for their sleep oil. No response by email or phone, but customer service was responsive when I simulated an order problem.
Okiweed
Okiweed’s website is very polished and their packaging is among the best in the comparison. Customer service is responsive by email and by phone, both before and after ordering, and a sample is added to every package. However, the origin of the products is rarely indicated. The brand has almost no presence on social media, but the customer experience is generally very well developed.
321CBD
321CBD has a fairly limited selection (oils, flowers, resins, vape) and several product pages lack information such as the country of origin. Some information is even contradictory, such as an oil presented as full spectrum showing 0% THC, which is not consistent. No response by email or phone before ordering, but customer service proved responsive when I simulated a delivery problem.
Marie Jeanne CBD
Marie Jeanne CBD is best known for vape, their specialty, but also offers a few flowers and oils. The website is clear and very well documented, with detailed product pages and good traceability: most references are made in France, which is a real plus. No response from customer service before ordering, but they proved responsive by email when I simulated a delivery problem. A serious brand, especially suited to users looking for quality on the vape side.
Tealerlab
Tealerlab clearly focuses on the customer experience: an ultra-polished site, easy-to-read product pages, a smooth journey, and even a free sample with every order. The brand has a very large community, which strengthens its image. However, transparency remains a real weak point, because the origin of the products is not indicated anywhere. Customer service is responsive by phone and when there is a post-order issue, but I did not receive a reply to my email before purchase.
My methodology
Product data was collected in January 2026 from the brands’ websites. Prices and features may change.

Panel selection
For this survey, I selected the most visible cbd brands and shops in France: those that appear most often in online rankings and search engine results.
I analyzed and tested, under real-life conditions, the sites that any consumer is most likely to come across during their searches.
The tests and product data are from December 2025.
Evaluation method
For each site, I studied the entire journey: catalog, information available on the site, package contents, brand popularity, and product compliance. I also contacted customer service by email, phone, and chat, both before and after ordering, in order to verify responsiveness, transparency, and the relevance of the answers.
The analysis is based on four quality criteria rated out of 5, and one price criterion.
1. The catalog
It was examined from several angles: the variety of the offering, the clarity of the product pages, the nature of the offering (own brand or multi-brand), and the availability of pre-purchase information (shipping costs, return conditions to avoid unpleasant surprises at checkout).
2. Security and transparency
To rate this criterion, I looked at the brand’s nationality, its possible membership in a professional association (a small plus that shows a commitment to seriousness), the level of traceability (country of manufacture), the availability of analyses, and the sale of synthetic cannabinoids (see my opinion on the subject below).
3. Popularity
It was measured using several indicators: the quantity and quality of customer reviews (verified reviews only), social media presence, as well as the company’s creation date.
4. The customer experience
I rated the experience by paying particular attention to the delivery time (all the sites delivered within 2 to 5 days, which is very good), the cost of shipping, the quality of customer service before and after purchase (I simulated a delivery issue), as well as the care taken with the packaging and the accuracy of the products received (I had no unpleasant surprises on this last point).
5. Price
To compare value for money, I based my assessment on the price of a 10% full-spectrum CBD oil. But this is only an additional indicator: it does not affect the final score, because the goal was not to name the “cheapest” site.

My overall assessment
After testing these 20 sites, one point immediately stands out: there is no perfect CBD site. Each has its strengths, but all have areas for improvement.
Some excel at the customer experience, but lack traceability. Others have a very good catalog, but do not display their analyses. Even the top performers in the ranking still have areas for improvement, which fairly accurately reflects the state of the French CBD market today.
One of the most striking aspects of this investigation is the difficulty in obtaining analyses. Out of 20 sites, only JustBob and La Ferme du CBD display their analyses on the vast majority of their product pages.
For the others, you have to request them, with no guarantee of receiving them. Some brands even refuse to provide them until the purchase has been made, which is a bit illogical for a product that is supposed to be transparent. This is clearly one of the market’s biggest weaknesses.
Traceability is just as uneven: country of origin not always mentioned, incomplete product pages, etc… During this investigation, coming across a brand that was completely transparent across its entire catalog was almost impossible.
Another observation: the issue of synthetic cannabinoids. Many sites sell molecules such as NXT, THCX, VMAC, NBSH, and many others. They are often presented as “relaxing” alternatives, almost equated with CBD, which is completely false.
There is a twofold problem here: on the one hand, there are no serious studies on their real health effects, either short-term or long-term. On the other hand, customer service teams are not trained, to the point of providing incorrect information.
In several cases, VMAC was presented to me as a simple “soothing” molecule, whereas it is clearly an alternative to HHC (banned in France since June 2023), a molecule already associated with numerous adverse effects, very far from the effects of CBD.
The only real exception was Le Lab Shop, which gave me clear and honest explanations about its synthetic molecules. As for the others, the confusion maintained around these molecules is, in my opinion, one of the most concerning aspects of this market.
Finally, the customer experience was generally good. Delivery times range from 2 to 5 days for all the brands tested. I also always received what I ordered.
To conclude this investigation, I would say that the online CBD market has improved, but there is still real work to be done on transparency and consistency!

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
How can you recognize a truly reliable CBD site?
A reliable website displays verified reviews (Trustpilot, Verified Reviews, Guaranteed Reviews, etc.), not just reviews embedded on the site via uncertified widgets. You should also find complete legal notices, as well as transparent product sheets (spectrum, CBD level, origin). The more precise and accessible the information is before purchase, the more serious the site is.
Are all CBD products sold online legal in France?
Most “wellness” CBD products are legal in France, provided they comply with the 0.3% THC limit. However, synthetic molecules (HHC, THCX, VMAC, NBSH, etc.) are in a gray area, because they are regularly targeted by orders that may ban them. For classic CBD, there is no problem. But for “alternative” cannabinoids, you need to be careful: they are neither wellness products nor officially “legal” products.
Why are some CBD websites cheaper than others?
Price differences can be explained by packaging: a premium site that invests in high-end bottles, cases, or designs will inevitably have higher prices. Next, origin plays a major role: CBD oil made in France or Switzerland will cost more than oil produced in Eastern Europe. For flowers, France / Switzerland origins are often higher quality than Italian flowers, which are generally cheaper because they are of lower quality.
Which CBD websites offer the best customer service?
In this comparison, several sites display responsive customer service and relevant advice. The best are: Mamakana, Stormrock, Okiweed, Greenowl, Le Petit Botaniste, and Weedy, which generally respond quickly by email or phone. In terms of pure responsiveness, these are the ones that offered the best experience.
