Introduction to Nutri & Co
Nutri&Co specializes in nutraceuticals. “Dietary supplement” is intentionally not a term the company uses to describe its products. The reason? The brand wants to remove the “guilt-inducing” undertone that this term can imply.
As a consumer, you’re invited to display your nutraceutical bottle like a perfume vial in your bathroom! Nutri&Co aims to create a daily preventive reflex around taking capsules, similar to brushing your teeth.
The laboratory therefore caters to anyone wishing to improve their well-being and health, and seeking educational support in that process.

Who is behind Nutri and Co?
Nutri&Co is a young Aix-based company launched in early 2017 by Édouard Fornas and Jean-Baptiste Gouraud. It now has 20 employees.
Édouard inherited his father’s entrepreneurial streak. He began his career as a financial analyst. Before embarking on the entrepreneurial journey, Jean-Baptiste cut his teeth as an Art Director in the web field.
The two founders started from the observation that our diet could not cover 100% of our nutritional needs. They therefore examined the offerings on the supplement market and had trouble navigating this maze.
Faced with often sterile packaging, widely varying prices and, for example, a lack of transparency regarding product composition, Nutri&Co was born as a solution to guide us when purchasing supplements.

Transparency and support
The desire for transparency and consumer support at Nutri&Co is reflected, in particular, in educational and entertaining infographics about the active ingredients used.
Concise and illustrated, this information is based on scientific studies. On the blog, you can also find numerous articles published by experts as well as references.

The startup has reduced the number of intermediaries to closely monitor the quality of manufacturing and product packaging. Thus the majority of these products are made in France.
An interactive map allows you to discover the origin of the raw materials used in the formulations, which is rare for dietary supplement brands. A certificate of analysis for the Omega-3 is even available on its website.

The company launched an app to create even closer ties with consumers. A questionnaire based on an algorithm provides a personalized dosage recommendation. Alerts can be set to remind users to take their supplements.
The app still appears to need some fixes because bugs have been reported.

Nutri&Co supplements
It was on the Amazon platform that Nutri&Co first sold its supplements. In December 2018, the company launched sales on its own e-commerce site.
In 2019 it launched a partnership with Franprix: its products are now available in 52 stores in the Île-de-France region. Very recently the brand announced the launch of its e-shop in Italy and Germany.
All products are prepared from natural ingredients and are:
- vegan
- GMO-free
- gluten-free
Suitable for people with intolerances and those following restrictive diets.

There are three categories of supplements: the superfoods, the micronutrients and nutri-cosmetics. Currently, the range consists of:
- Magnesium
- Organic spirulina
- Probio² made with probiotics and prebiotics
- The Multi
- Omega-3
- Organic turmeric
- The antioxidant
- Millet and organic plant-based biotin
- Plant-based melatonin
This range will expand soon. Maca and moringa, for example, are on the list of upcoming superfoods that will be available.
The latest addition to the range is organic millet and plant-based biotin. It’s the result of more than a year of research into hair beauty.
Two clinical studies highlight the effectiveness of the French millet in this formulation. This is the very first organic and vegan formulation on the market.

Partners and laboratories
Nutri&Co works with many partners, mainly in Europe. Among them are laboratories certified ISO 22000, Ecocert or organic.
An internal research and development team reviews studies carried out by independent scientific teams and ensures the development of innovative formulations.
Prices and loyalty program
Regarding prices, we compared the price of organic spirulina with those charged by two competitors. At nearly €0.10 per gram of spirulina, the bill is slightly higher than at Nutriméa (about €0.09 per gram) but more affordable than at Anastore (€0.21 per gram).
It is possible to choose packs such as the athlete’s pack containing 4 bottles of different capsules. It saves you nearly €7 compared to products purchased separately. Packs maternity, energy, organic, immunity, digestion, beauty are also available.
Bundles of three similar bottles are also more advantageous, with almost €5 savings for the three-bottle Omega-3 pack.
The brand offers free shipping on purchases of €60 or more and the company commits to delivering to the customer within 48 to 72 hours.
At Nutri&Co, every euro spent by customers equals one point. When the rewards balance reaches certain thresholds, the company offers gifts or products. For example, after 500 points you can choose a Chilly’s-branded water bottle.
Our review of Nutri&Co
1. Customer reviews
Nutri&Co’s ratings and reviews are:
– 4.9 / 5 on Google Maps
– 4.8 / 5 on Facebook
– 4.7 / 5 on Ekomi
What stands out from the reviews is the quality of the products and the scientific rigor of the information available on the active ingredients of the products. Customers highlight the quality of customer relations and the availability of after-sales service.
Of the six products currently sold on Amazon, five are ranked #1 in sales in their respective categories. Their ratings range between 4.2 and 4.6 stars and are based on several hundred customer reviews.
Reviews praise the style, the packaging, the ease of swallowing the capsules, and the value for money.
2. The editorial team’s opinion
We are very positive about this lab and regularly take Nutri&Co supplements (Charlotte takes their biotin, Quentin their probiotics).
Why?
– for the visible effectiveness of the products on our well-being: that’s the most important thing for us!
– for their price: it is neither excessive (there’s everything out there in the supplements market online), nor abnormally low in a way that would prevent obtaining quality products.
– for their image and the trust the brand inspires: it’s a great entrepreneurial story and a company I find innovative and ambitious. Moreover, the company recently completed a major funding round, an important sign of strength.
