Introduction to Anastore
Anastore is an online dietary supplement brand founded in December 2000.
Its dietary supplements are manufactured in France and in Belgium. The supplements are not irradiated or ionized.
Most supplements are non-GMO, lactose-free and dye-free, and the capsules are almost all plant-based. They are therefore suitable for many restrictive diets.
Packaging in the form of jars and blister packs is recyclable. Anastore told us it is studying the possibility of offering 100% recyclable sachets.

In Anastore’s catalog you can find capsules (e.g.: moringa, aloe vera), tablets but also powder (e.g.: spirulina and chlorella, guarana), seeds (e.g.: fenugreek, black cumin), as well as berries (e.g.: Inca berries, goji) and oils (e.g.: borage oil, hemp oil).
The brand offers some organic-certified supplements such as cranberry, acerola, red ginseng or hemp seeds.
Focus on sub-brands “Powder, nothing but Plants” and “Hévéa, the plant infinity”
The Anastore group has launched several sub-brands of dietary supplements.
Hevea, for example, is dedicated to aromatherapy products with essential oils (lemon, ginger, etc.). It also includes vegetable oils (jojoba, coconut), lotions and other serums based on rose water and orange blossom water, for example.
Hevea is committed to ensuring the quality of raw materials by conducting sampling and performing tests (smell, flavor, color).
“Powder, nothing but plants” is another sub-brand of the group dedicated to superfoods. It offers powders, seeds like quinoa, berries such as goji, or whole spices and tea.

Our test
Product: ★★★★☆
I tested several Anastore products: organic hemp oil with CBD, organic ginseng and ashwagandha.
I received a package containing well-packaged and protected products, with a trim in the brand’s colors. The capsule packaging is white and opaque and does not let light through.
The CBD oil is packaged in a cardboard box. The bottle is elegant and equipped with a dropper.
The hemp oil packaging is accompanied by the certificate of analysis and a short presentation of the laboratory’s philosophy.
In terms of scent, the ginseng and ashwagandha capsules have a neutral smell. They are easy to swallow with a glass of water.
The hemp oil is yellow/green in color. It is clear and has an aroma and a hazelnut-like flavor.

Price: ★★★☆☆
I compared in the tables below the price of Anastore’s garcinia cambogia and red ginseng with those offered by several competitors. And it turns out that the brand is generally more expensive than its competitors at equivalent dosages.
Garcinia cambogia
| July 2021 | Anastore | Nutrimea | Dynveo |
| AHC dosage | 60% | 60% | 60% |
| AHC / bottle | 21.6 g | 17.8 g | 21.6 g |
| price / g AHC | €0.97 | €0.78 | €0.90 |
The price per gram of hydroxycitric acid (AHC) is higher at Anastore than at Nutrimea or Dynveo.
Organic red ginseng
| July 2021 | Anastore | Dynveo | Nutrixeal |
| ginsenosides / capsule | 15% | 20% | 25% |
| ginsenosides / bottle | 2.7 g | 2.4 g | 3.8 g |
| price / g ginsenosides | €11.10 | €10.20 | €6.40 |
It can be seen that the price per gram of ginsenosides is higher at Anastore than at Dynveo and Nutrixeal.
The prices are tiered for some products with a buy 3, get 1 free offer.
Some promotions are offered, for example in the summer, with discounts of up to 50%. Shipping is free for orders over €49 within mainland France.
There is a “satisfaction or money-back” guarantee if the products received are damaged, not as ordered, or do not meet expectations.
A loyalty program lets you accumulate points as you place orders and convert them into discount vouchers. The more significant the orders (in number and value), the more valuable the points become.
You can also receive a €5 discount coupon by signing up for the newsletter.

Transparency: ★★★☆☆
In the product pages, Anastore specifies the batch number, the country of manufacture and the certificate of analysis. The active ingredient contents are also listed.
However, the country of origin is not mentioned nor the sourcing area of the raw materials used in the supplements. Except for certain products in the Hévéa line.
For example, borage seeds come from China, cloves from Madagascar and black cumin seeds from Egypt. However, Anastore only provides this information when a customer requests it.
In the interest of transparency, Anastore could specify the origin of all raw materials used on product pages. The brand also does not disclose its raw material suppliers.
The backgrounds and identities of the founders were not provided to us despite our request.
Expertise: ★★★★☆
Each product page presents the benefits of the supplement, the detailed composition including the ingredients used. Scientific claims and detailed instructions for use accompany them.
On the d’Anastore blog, there are many articles organized by category, for example “digestion”, “energy”, “immune”. You can read an article about “10 benefits of magnesium” or about “Acerola, the fruit that helps prevent fatigue”.
These articles mention scientific studies. The content is written by a team made up of a pharmacist/writer and two journalists specializing in health and nutrition.
The product/quality team is made up of health experts (pharmacist, botanist, nutritionist, biologist and chemist).
You can subscribe to the brand’s newsletter, which allows you to receive promotions, discover new product releases, and have a focus on certain scientific discoveries in the field of health.

Popularity: ★★★★☆
I used the Similarweb tool to analyze the traffic of Anastore France’s website. In June 2021 the site totaled more than 107,000 unique visitors, which is particularly significant for a supplements e-commerce site.
On social networks, Anastore has 956 followers on Facebook and 223 followers on Instagram (Sept. 2021) – that’s fewer than most of its competitors.
On Trustpilot, Anastore has more than 10,000 reviews. The average rating is 4.7 / 5. Positive comments highlight the speed of delivery, the good value for money, and the effectiveness of the products.
On the Amazon platform, you can find Anastore’s listings. Sublingual melatonin and organic red ginseng receive many reviews, 803 and 218 respectively. The most favorable reviews emphasize the quality and beneficial effects of the products.
Trust: ★★★★☆
It is possible to contact the Anastore customer service by phone, by live chat or by filling out a form.
I contacted customer service to ask them the following questions:
- When using CBD oil as an anti-inflammatory, what is the dosage? And when should oral administration be preferred?
- What is the country of origin of the hemp used in the formulation?
- What is the country of origin of the organic red ginseng?
- Should red ginseng be preferred over your white ginseng for a course? What is the ginsenoside content of the powdered white ginseng?
- Is the packaging recyclable?
Here are the answers I received:

I received detailed answers very quickly (in less than a day) and precise ones to my questions.
The products are manufactured in France and Belgium. Organic products have European organic certification.
The laboratories comply with the standards HACCP / GMP.
