PhenQ is a dietary supplement focused on weight loss. It is intended for women and men who want to slim down. 

PhenQ’s ambition is to offer a supplement for losing weight quickly and sustainably. It has two actions: appetite suppressant and fat burner.

It is not suitable for children or for pregnant or breastfeeding women. People undergoing medical treatment or suffering from any illness must seek their doctor’s advice before taking supplements.  

Weight-loss dietary supplements are not miracle solutions. The course must be accompanied by a healthy lifestyle based on a balanced diet and the practice of regular physical activity.

PhenQ is supplied and manufactured by Wolfson Brands. This British company has numerous brands of dietary supplements focused on beauty, sports, and weight control. It was founded in 2005 and offers around forty products.

The product’s detailed composition is presented on the site. Each main ingredient is listed with health claims that are sometimes supported by scientific references. 

It would be desirable for each of the actions presented to be systematically backed up by scientific content to strengthen the brand’s expertise. Thus, the brand presents data to support the effectiveness of the α-Lacys Reset® formulation. It could mention specific studies.

There is no dedicated blog for the PhenQ brand. However, when purchasing the products, customers are subscribed to a newsletter that includes content related to nutrition/health.

A FAQ answers common questions such as “What does PhenQ contain?” or “How long can I take PhenQ for?”.

Every order comes with digital nutrition guides. They include, in particular, detox programs and meal plans.

On the Trustpilot website, PhenQ has 112 reviews. The average rating is 3.7 / 5. Positive comments especially highlight the effectiveness of the products when combined with a balanced diet and physical activity. 

Some negative comments, however, mention side effects after taking the tablets. Such as headaches, nervousness, and a cottonmouth feeling: effects that in my opinion are linked to the high caffeine content of the supplement.

PhenQ’s customer service is available by phone, online form, WhatsApp, and chat.

I contacted customer service to ask them the following questions:

• The EFSA (European Food Safety Authority) recommendations are a maximum of 200 mg of caffeine per day. With 2 tablets per day, I exceed 200 mg (caffeine and capsimax). Isn’t there a risk of overdose?
• So it is not recommended to consume drinks containing caffeine (tea, coffee, etc.) during the course?
• Can you specify the origin (country) of the nopal, pepper and caffeine used (from coffee?)?
• Can you send me the certificates of analysis for PhenQ?
• Is the PhenQ packaging recyclable?

I am still waiting for answers to my questions; maybe they were too technical?
