Aurore Market and La Fourche: Two major players in organic e-commerce

With 16,000 subscribers for Aurore Market and 60,000 for La Fourche, these retailers are major players in organic e-commerce.

Launched in 2017 by Roman Regis and Hicham Aissou, Aurore Market is located in Aveyron (12). It eliminates intermediaries between the customer and the producer and operates solely on revenue from annual memberships.

La Fourche, for its part, is based in Livry-Gargan, in Seine-Saint-Denis (93). It was launched in 2018 by three friends: Lucas, Boris, and Nathan. Specializing in online sales of organic products, it offers prices up to 50% cheaper than elsewhere.

It also develops products under its own brand. Like Aurore Market, it operates on an annual subscription model.

Alongside Greenweez and Kazidomi, they are gaining ground on the organic market in France. Today, 6% of purchases made in specialized organic stores are made online (CAM June 2021).

La Fourche acquires the Aurore Market brand

In May 2022, La Fourche underwent a major change by acquiring the Aurore Market group. The group’s 16,000 members were thus added to its 60,000 subscribers.

La Fourche, which already offers more than 4,000 items, expands its catalog with the 2,500 products sold on Aurore Market.

Three months of membership offered to former Aurore Market subscribers

Since their founding, the two brands have shared the same operating model. This model relies on an annual subscription to access discounted prices on products.

On that front, nothing changes for existing Aurore Market subscribers: their membership is automatically transferred to La Fourche. They also keep their usual login credentials.

La Fourche has nevertheless planned a “welcome gift.” Since May 18, new members have been receiving 3 months of free membership. A bonus gift will also be included in their first order.
