Product range
Epycure offers personalized supplementation based on answers to an online questionnaire. The brand also offers chewable gummies formulated to address various needs: hair, sun care, detox, stress and sleep.
It also sells a complex of probiotics and prebiotics, products to boost immunity (vitamin D3, lozenges containing acerola, zinc and selenium).
Finally, among the products is a slimming powder made from guarana, mate, spirulina and pumpkin seed proteins.

Focus on the personalized supplement plan
I completed a online questionnaire to get my personalized diagnosis. I provide my first name, whether I usually take dietary supplements or not, my gender, my main goals.
I selected :
- “to have stronger hair and nails, clearer skin”
- “improve my athletic performance”
- “improve my concentration”

Then I answer a series of questions about my lifestyle, about my diet, my consumption of fruits, vegetables and dairy products, my exercise habits, my sleep schedule, etc. Finally, I have to indicate whether I have any intolerances, allergies, or dietary restrictions.
Then, with one click, I get my personalized recommendation. It is a blend of active ingredients including vitamins and trace elements.
My formulation will be contained in two capsules to be taken daily for the duration of the treatment.

Personalized treatment
I tried Epycure’s personalized treatment, the hair and stress gummies, as well as the probiotic & prebiotic complex.
Upon opening my package, I discovered a pretty background in the brand’s colors. I find the packaging of the pro and prebiotic complex very attractive with its recyclable glass jar.
The labels are clear and precise and list the ingredients, the dosage instructions, and the storage recommendations.

In terms of smell, the capsules have a neutral scent. I didn’t have any difficulty swallowing them. No aftertaste detected.
The bottles of the personalized treatment (one for home and one for travel) bear my initials.
The advantage of the personalized treatment is that I have only two pills to take per day, unlike the competitor Cuure, for example, which requires taking more capsules.
They contain a blend of all the active ingredients recommended to me based on my needs and lifestyle.
Sun gummies
The gummies are colorful, they look like candy. They are orange-flavored, which is noticeable in both their smell and taste. They are easy to chew.
I found humorous messages under the gummy packets that made me smile.
I made a comparison of the composition of these gummies with those of two competitors.
| Ingredients | Epycure | Lashilé Beauty | Les Miraculeux |
| Copper content * | 0.8 mg | 0.15 mg | 0.5 mg |
| Beta-carotene content * | 7 mg | 4.8 mg | 1.2 mg |
Epycure’s gummies contain more active ingredients (8 in total) than the gummies from Lashilé and Les Miraculeux. Regarding copper and beta-carotene content, they are more concentrated.

Price: ★★★☆☆
The personalized 1-month treatment costs €29. For a three-month commitment, the treatment costs €27 per month, and for a six-month commitment, it’s €25 per month.
I did a price comparison of the personalized treatment and the sun gummies with the prices charged by several of Epycure’s competitors.
Personalized treatment
| Rounded price, April 2021 | Epycure | Cuure |
| Personalized 1-month regimen (+ shipping fees) | €33.90 | €27 |
The personalized treatment is more expensive at Epycure. There’s a price difference related to shipping fees (free at Cuure for orders over €20).
The formulations and active ingredients offered are not identical between the two brands, which also explains the price difference.
Sun gummies
| Price rounded, April 2021 | Epycure | Lashilé Beauty | Les Miraculeux |
| Copper content * | 0.8 mg | 0.15 mg | 0.5 mg |
| Beta-carotene content * | 7 mg | 4.8 mg | 1.2 mg |
| Price per gummy | €0.42 | €0.42 | €0.47 |
* for 2 gummies
The price per sun gummy is the same at Epycure as at Lashilé and more affordable than at the Miraculeux. In terms of composition, Epycure’s gummies are composed of 8 active ingredients vs 6 and 4 respectively at Lashilé and Les Miraculeux.
The delivery is free for purchases of €100 or more; otherwise shipping costs €4.90. Delivery is available in France and Belgium. The delivery time is 2 to 3 business days.
Transparency: ★★★★☆
Epycure does not systematically specify the origin of the ingredients of its dietary supplements. The green tea extract in the stress gummies, for example, comes from China. The holy basil leaf extract comes from Asia. But the origin of the spirulina powder in the detox gummies is not mentioned.
The brand does not specify its suppliers of raw materials. The products’ certificates of analysis are not available on the product pages.

Epycure was founded in 2019 by Angélique d’Esclaibes and Paul-Etienne Jacob. Before Epycure, Angélique launched Amalone, which marketed men’s swimwear. She studied at ESSEC. Paul-Etienne graduated from ESCP. He is the founder of Massage Chouette, a therapeutic massage service for companies.
Epycure very recently raised €2.5 million to accelerate its R&D and expand in Europe. Its main investor is Founders Future, a startup studio created by Marc Ménasé.

They are written by nutritionists, naturopaths and by the co‑founder of the brand, among others. Some articles are accompanied by scientific references.
Note that the co‑founder left the company recently.

The company collaborates with health experts:

Trust: ★★★★☆
To contact the customer service, you can fill out an online form or call them by phone. The Epycure team commits to providing a response within 24 hours.
You can also contact Epycure via Facebook.
I contacted customer service to ask them these questions:
- When during the day is it recommended to take the gummies?
- How much glucose syrup and sugar do your gummies contain?
- Can people with diabetes take gummies as a supplement?
- What is the recommended duration for the Hair Gummies regimen?
- What is the optimal storage temperature for the Probiotics & Prebiotic Complex?
- Where does the spirulina powder in the detox gummies come from?
Here are the answers I received:

I obtained clear and precise answers quickly (in less than 24 hours) to my questions.
The production of the supplements takes place in France. The gummies are manufactured in Saumur in the Loire Valley and the capsules in Moréac, in the Morbihan. The powders are manufactured in Francheville near Lyon.
