The Eafit brand was created in 1991 and belongs to the EA Pharma group.

The brand is the No. 1 sports nutrition brand sold in pharmacies and is found in more than 3,500 retail outlets in France.
On its website, the brand says it places great importance on the quality of raw materials, in order to ensure products of optimal quality, well tolerated and gentle on the body.

My review
Products ★★★☆☆
For the test, I received several of the brand’s products in a parcel within a few days, in standard packaging. They arrived in very good condition.
The product packaging is understated; they are opaque black plastic bottles.
Usage instructions, dosage and the optimal time to take the supplements are clearly indicated thanks to educational infographics. The list of ingredients is written in a clear and readable font.
The mention “French brand” is listed as well as the mention “anti-doping” which guarantees that the products will not produce a positive test in the event of a check. This is extremely important for products intended for athletes in competition.
However, the place of manufacture or the origin of the raw materials are not specified.
For the test I selected 3 products that are among their bestsellers.
La Pure Whey double chocolate flavor

Whey is a blend of proteins extracted from milk whey, also called “whey”. Easy to take, it is widely used by athletes to ensure an adequate protein intake.
Pure Whey Eafit is a blend of 3 types of whey:
- 42.7% whey concentrate
- 36.2% whey isolate
- and an unspecified amount of hydrolyzed whey
It also contains an addition of amino acids such as glutamine and arginine as well as 16 vitamins and minerals.
To promote protein digestibility, Eafit whey also contains an enzyme complex.
From a nutritional point of view, Pure Whey contains per 100 g: 76 g of protein, 4.2 g of fat and 7.3 g of carbohydrate.
Compared to other whey on the market, the protein content is adequate even though other brands may have a higher concentration.
To properly evaluate protein quality, you need to look at the amount of BCAA present (specific amino acids that promote muscle building).
Eafit whey contains 18 g/100 g, which is very interesting.
The whey is a quality source of protein, particularly for athletes who sometimes struggle to meet all of their needs.
What sets Eafit’s apart is that it adds a vitamin complex that also covers part of the recommended requirements.
Be careful not to take any other vitamin complex with this type of product to avoid overdosing.
For the chocolate flavor, the brand uses cocoa, maltodextrin, as well as two sweeteners, sucralose and acesulfame K. These two sweeteners are controversial. They may be harmful in large amounts and over the long term to our gut microbiota.
Personally, I found the flavor pleasant, the cocoa and the sweetener are well balanced. However, I found the texture a bit too thin and a bit gritty in the mouth.
Pure Whey is sold in a container of 750 g, which represents 18 servings of 40 g, each providing 31 g of protein.
Unfortunately the origin of the raw materials is unknown, which could tell us more about the product’s quality. That’s a shame.
La Pure Creatine

Creatine is a protein naturally present in muscles, it plays a role in energy production. The amount naturally present is quickly depleted. Taking it as a dietary supplement allows you to go further in your training and increase your performance.
Creatine monohydrate is the most widely sold form in the sports supplement world. It has been the subject of many studies. It is safe and effective when taken in the recommended amounts.
Eafit creatine comes in capsule form containing 500 mg of creatine monohydrate.
The brand’s recommendations are 3 g per day in two doses, morning and evening. That represents 6 capsules per day.
The bottle contains 90 capsules which represents a 15-day supply.
Pure Creatine comes in animal gelatin capsules and contains mono- and diglycerides of fatty acids as an anti-caking agent. This food additive is classified as not recommended by the magazine Que Choisir.
The BCAA 4:1:1

BCAAs include 3 amino acids: L-leucine, L-isoleucine, L-valine. They are called branched-chain amino acids and are essential to the structure of muscle tissue. Without them, muscle building is impossible.
These amino acids are called essential amino acids because our body is not able to synthesize them. That’s why they must be provided through the diet.
During intense exercise, if the body begins to lack energy, muscle tissue is broken down and BCAAs provide energy to the muscle.
Taking them before exercise helps preserve muscle and improve recovery.
Eafit BCAAs provide 4 L-leucine for 1 L-valine and 1 L-isoleucine. This ratio is the same as that of muscle tissue. They also provide a small amount of vitamin B6 (15% per serving) to allow better assimilation of the amino acids.
Eafit BCAAs are presented in the form of scored tablets. Each tablet contains 900 mg of BCAAs and a small amount of vitamin B6.
The brand’s recommendations are 4 tablets per day, 2 before the workout and 2 at the end.
The bottle contains 80 tablets, which is equivalent to 20 days of supplementation.
BCAAs can be isolated from plants or animal sources; unfortunately, their origin in Eafit supplements is not really known.
These tablets contain 3 additives, microcrystalline cellulose, tricalcium phosphate and magnesium stearate, and are considered acceptable with low toxicity.
Price: ★★★☆☆
Eafit is one of the best-selling brands in pharmacies and parapharmacies in the sports supplement market. I decided to compare it with 2 other brands specializing in sports nutrition.
| Whey | Foodspring | nu3 | EAFIT |
| Protein amount | 80 | 74.9 | 76 |
| Presence of vitamins | NO | NO | YES |
| Whey origin | New Zealand | Unknown | Unknown |
| Quantity per pack | 750 g | 1 kg | 750 g |
| Average price in € | 32.99 | 29.99 | 29.90 |
| Price in € /100 g | 4.40 | 2.90 | 3.98 |
Eafit whey is not the cheapest on the market but it is at a mid-range price.
Its protein content and the presence of vitamins explain a higher price than the brand nu3.
| Creatine | Foodspring | NUTRIPURE | Eafit |
| Type of creatine | Creatine monohydrate (Creapure) | Creatine monohydrate (Creapure) | Creatine monohydrate |
| Vegan | YES | NO | NO |
| Number of capsules per pack | 120 | 180 | 90 |
| Number of capsules per day | 5 | 5 | 6 |
| Pack price in € | 22.99 | 24.90 | 90 |
| Price in € per day | 0.95 | 0.69 | 1.30 |
According to our comparison table, we observe that Eafit creatine is more expensive than its competitors despite slightly lower quality. Indeed, the brand’s two main competitors offer creatine of exceptional purity with the Creapure reference.
| BCAA | Foodspring | nu3 | Eafit |
| BCAA formulation | 2.1.1 | 2.1.1 | 4.1.1 + B6 |
| Vegan | YES | YES | NO |
| Number of units per pack | 120 | 150 | 80 |
| Number of capsules per day | 4 | 4 | 4 |
| Pack price | 24.99 | 19.99 | 26.90 |
| Price per day | 0.83 | 0.54 | 1.35 |
The BCAAs from the Eafit brand are much more expensive than those of its competitors, which can be partly explained by higher proportions of L-leucine and the addition of vitamin B6 to promote absorption.
Eafit delivers to metropolitan France and the overseas departments and territories but also to more than 45 countries worldwide. Shipping costs vary depending on the carrier and are free for purchases over €50.
Returns and refunds are possible within 14 days, however, return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
There are value packs grouping 2 to 4 products with specific themes such as “weight loss”, “cutting”, “bulking”. Discounts can be up to 25%.
You can receive a 30% discount on your first order by signing up for the brand’s newsletter.
Transparency ★★★☆☆
The Eafit brand belongs to the French group EA Pharma, formed from the merger of three companies: Equilibre Attitude (creator of the Eafit brand), the Granions laboratory and the Merle laboratory.
The group aims to be a leader in oligotherapy and sports nutrition in pharmacies and ranks 10th in the dietary supplements market in France and Spain.
The group exports to more than 75 countries and has over 400 employees worldwide. It owns 4 production plants in Europe. Its revenue amounted to more than €70 million in 2021.
The vast majority of products are manufactured in France.
However, it is very difficult to find information about the brand’s raw materials as well as the exact location where the products are manufactured. The brand claims to carry out a rigorous selection of quality products; I would have liked to see evidence.
Expertise ★★★☆☆

The Eafit website is very clear and well designed. It includes product pages that explain in detail who the product is intended for, what benefits to expect and what precautions to take.
It also contains the list of ingredients and nutritional values clearly and in detail.
The site is packed with very interesting articles on exercise and sports nutrition. It also includes recipes that help you reach your goals.
The articles are unsigned, it is not known whether they are written by sports professionals or nutrition experts.
I find it unfortunate that the articles do not call on experts to convey more scientific and higher-quality messages.
However, there is no information about how the company operates. I would have liked to know a little more about the brand’s founder, its history, the team behind it and who develops the product formulas.
Popularity ★★★★☆
On social media, the company has over 13K followers on Facebook and 11.4K followers on Instagram.
On the site Avis vérifiés there are more than 400 reviews. The average rating is 8.5/10. The comments are, for the most part, positive and highlight the speed of shipping and the clarity of the website,
Eafit is a brand listed in more than 3,500 points of sale in France, mainly pharmacies and parapharmacies. It is also the number one seller of sports nutrition products in pharmacies, a sign of popularity.
Its ambassadors include Stade Toulousain, Amandine Henry, captain of the French women’s national football team…
Trust and Engagement ★★★☆☆
Eafit has customer service that can be reached by email.
To find out more, I asked the brand numerous questions about the origin of the raw materials, notably about the origin of the milk used to obtain the whey and the origin of the raw materials used to obtain the BCAAs.
Here are the questions sent to customer service:
- Where do the whey concentrate and isolate you use come from?
- Do they come from pasture-raised cows’ milk or from intensive farming?
- Does the milk used to make the whey come from France? From Europe? From elsewhere?
- Is the whey manufactured in France, or is only the blending done there?
- What raw material are your BCAAs derived from? Why aren’t they vegan?
- Are they manufactured in France?
- Are there any contraindications?
I received a response after more than 10 days of waiting and the answers were not clear.
While I did receive confirmation that the products are made in France, I was not able to learn more about the origin of the raw materials. On this subject, the brand lacks transparency.
Eafit is committed to combating doping. As such, its products adhere to the World Anti-Doping Code charter thanks to the AFNOR standard NF V 94-001, which is subject to rigorous quality and traceability controls.
