Nutrition
✪✪✪✪✪
The Peau Magnifique collagens, peach-flavored and unflavored, contain 9.53 g of collagen peptides and 150 mg of Ovoderm® per 10 g of soluble powder.
The marine collagen used is hydrolyzed, low molecular weight, and type I, which gives it an almost optimal bioavailability of 95%.
Furthermore, the Ovoderm, present in these products, is a patented active ingredient that contains 35% collagen. This is a very positive point for my rating.
Also, salt is present (its presence is explained later in the article). That’s why I preferred the marine collagen unflavored, which contains neither sweeteners nor salt, improving its rating.

Safety
✪✪✪✪✪
To determine a safety score, I relied on three criteria: the presence of additives, labels, and geographic origin.
Presence of additives:
The collagen flavor peach contains two high-intensity synthetic sweeteners: acesulfame potassium and sucralose. They mimic the sweet taste without adding calories. I experienced side effects from the first days of the regimen: bloating, flatulence, and headache.
Flavorings are present in the ingredient list, without specification of the type of flavorings (natural or synthetic).
The salt is added to improve taste and encourage consumption of the product, according to the brand. In my opinion, this ingredient is unnecessary and only accentuates the salty taste already provided by the marine collagen derived from fish.
Finally, apple and hibiscus colorings are added for a peach-colored drink, as the advertised flavor.
These 4 additives lower the safety rating of the peach-flavored collagen.
Conversely, no additives are found in the unflavored collagen, which has a very positive impact on its rating.
Labels:
For both flavors, the brand Twenty DC favors fish skins that would otherwise be discarded to recover the collagen. This circular economy limits waste.
The fish used are certified Friend Of The Sea, a label that guarantees fishing practices that respect the seafloor.
Geographic origin:
Marine collagen has a lower environmental impact compared to bovine collagen.
Unfortunately, the origin of the raw materials is not specified on the back of the product packaging.

Pleasure
✪✪✪✪✪
The peach flavor is very pleasant and is due to the presence of artificial flavors.
For better dissolution, I recommend pouring the water first, then the collagen powder before mixing.
Dissolution is excellent: in a few seconds, your drink is ready to be consumed and, above all, without lumps.
The drink is not thick at all, I appreciate the texture of this supplement. Visually, it even looks like water mixed with a bit of syrup.
However, the presence of sweeteners and salt quickly overpowers the pleasant peach taste and leaves an unpleasant aftertaste.
I preferred the unflavored collagen, which has a lighter salty taste and no aftertaste.

Pack
✪✪✪✪✪
The jar is made of plastic and recyclable, as is the measuring spoon.
Visually, the packaging is very fresh and uncluttered; I really like it. On the back of the product, you’ll find the list of ingredients, the levels of collagen peptides and Ovoderm®, usage instructions and contraindications.
The measuring spoon provided in the jar is very convenient for easily measuring my serving and reconstituting my drink.
The jar closes easily thanks to the screw-on lid.
The jar is easy to store thanks to its size, can be kept at room temperature and corresponds to a 28-day supply.
However, the jar is not completely full. It might be better if it were smaller to match the quantity of product.

Brand
✪✪✪✪✪
Twenty DC is a recent brand launched in 2021 by two entrepreneurs: Stéphane Viscuso (founder of the French group N4Brands) and Maxime Barret (who studied engineering and business).
This ‘made in France‘ brand, which focuses entirely on collagen supplementation, has been featured in magazines such as Biba, Voici and Elle, and also on television (M6 and BFMTV).
Still not very active on social media, Twenty DC has nearly 3,500 followers on Instagram and 725 on Facebook but almost no followers on YouTube and TikTok.
Regarding customer reviews, the brand has almost 700 on the platform Judge.me with a rating of 4.89/5.
That said, I find that there are ultimately only a few reviews of these products and a still-small community on social media.

My review
The Peau Magnifique peach-flavored collagen supplement shows results from the first week of use.
Thanks to collagen peptides and the presence of Ovoderm, my skin was plumper, better hydrated, and I had fewer wrinkles.
The jar of collagen is intended for a one-month supply, and my drink is very easy to prepare, no special equipment needed.
The marine collagen is of very good quality, even though the brand does not specify the exact origin of the ingredients in its product.
I remain puzzled by the addition of four additives in the peach-flavored collagen.
I prefer unflavored collagen from a nutritional and taste perspective.
