Convalescence: the most effective dietary supplements
Mis à jour le
Convalescence is the recovery phase following an illness, trauma or a period of intense stress, during which the body and mind heal and gradually regain their balance. This period is often characterized by persistent fatigue, decreased appetite and difficulties concentrating, indicating that the body is still regenerating.
To support the recovery process, intake of essential trace elements is strongly recommended. Indeed, during illness or stress, the body's nutrient reserves can be significantly depleted. Supplementation with selenium (100 to 200 mcg/day) and zinc (8 to 12 mg/day) is particularly beneficial for strengthening immunity and speeding cellular recovery. The magnesium and the potassium play a key role in restoring energy, while the silicon contributes to tissue repair and bone health.
Some plants, such as rosehip, blackcurrant or alfalfa, also help to boost energy, support natural defenses and revitalize the body.
