Pectinate fir: benefits, dosage, contraindications

Mis à jour le

The pectinate fir is a conifer of the Pinaceae family, capable of reaching nearly 70 meters in height. It exhibits fairly rapid growth and thrives in areas with a humid climate. Its young shoots are used in gemmotherapy. The buds mainly contain monoterpenes, such as limonene, alpha-pinene and beta-pinene. The pectinate fir is used to promote proper bone mineralization and effective calcium fixation, particularly in children. It also helps reduce lower back pain and joint pain.
